Spam is basically putting information on a page that is unrelated to the page or general wiki content. This does not apply to userpages, as userpages are where a user may do anything they want with them (within reasonable limits. If it's NSFW, don't put it up.)
Common forms of spam include:
- Placing external links that have no related content
- Uploading pictures/files that have nothing to do with the wiki (except for use on userpages, but again, within reason)
- Inserting strings of gibberish into pages
- Blanking pages or sections of pages (unless you are rewriting it to sound better or be less confusing)
